Stay near The Island Pub in Juneau

This is such a great little place. We highly recommend it for 2 people visiting Juneau with access to a car. Waking up to the direct view of the mountains and channel every day was just amazing - and watching the cruise ships going in an out gave a feel for life in Juneau in the summer! The condo had all the comforts of home: a comfortable bed, linens, clean and well equipped bathroom and kitchen, washer/dryer, coffee maker and coffee grinder (even a big bag of delicious local Alaskan coffee as well as creamer, sugar, all the stuff you need). TV worked well, though we didn't use it that much. Staying on Douglas Island is very peaceful -- close to downtown but far enough away that you're not in the middle of all the cruise crowds. Also near to trails and Island Pub restaurant, which was a pleasantly good surprise. The Airbnb hosts checked in regularly and were available if we needed them, but we never needed anything!
