Welcome to Juneau Vacation Homes! We are Adam and Ash, we are a young family of four with two young daughters, Penelope and Marjorie. In 2014, shortly after college and looking for an adventure. We made the crazy (or at least that is what are friends and family called us) move from Cleveland, Ohio to Juneau, Alaska, and the stunning beauty and breathtaking wilderness of this incredible region have captured our hearts.

I first fell in love with Southeast Alaska while on family trip during my teenage years. I could have never imagined that trip would set the stage for a lifetime of adventure (Thanks Grandma!!). One rainy September day I received an email about a transfer/promotion opportunity and knew this was my chance. Ash and I had only been dating a year at this time and I was terrified I'd have to choose between her and this opportunity. I nervously showed her the email, to my shock, she laughed and said, "lets go!". Less than a month later we were saying goodbye to our friends, family and the only area either of us had ever called home.

Making the move from Cleveland to Juneau was not without its challenges, but with determination and hard work, we have persevered and found endless opportunities here. 6 years into our Alaskan adventures we decided it was time to take another big leap and expand our family. Penelope and Marjorie, are growing up in the midst of this incredible landscape, surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness and the excitement of outdoor exploration. They have learned to love and appreciate the world around them, and we hope they are being shaped by the experiences that they have here.

Aside from our love for the great outdoors, we have a passion for sharing our experiences and helping others discover the beauty of the world around them. That's why we created this website – to share our Alaskan adventure, offer travel tips and recommendations, and connect with like-minded individuals. Whether you're a young family just starting out or a seasoned traveler, we hope that our recommendations and advice will inspire you to explore new places and create unforgettable memories of your own.
