Sandrine

Sandrine, thank you for staying with Juneau Vacation Homes. We’re glad Adam’s prompt help made your stay easier, and that you enjoyed the well-equipped apartment, pool, and peaceful ocean views. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back to Juneau.

We missed our flight back to Seattle and had to wait two days to catch another. I figured we should make the most of the "bonus" Alaska time and Adam's place was available - and AMAZING! It's at the end of an out of the way cul-de-sac backing up to the forest. It's a garage apartment next to the main house but was cleverly arranged that we never really looked out the direction. It was so peaceful! Everything inside was high end (appliances, linens). The windows were nearly soundproof, which made for perfect sleep. there was high speed internet that allowed some teleworking and videocalls. It's a little remote from downtown but the ride shares were around $20 each way. We feel so lucky that we were able to find this charming place available and I hope we can come back soon!

Kristi

Being able to relax in a hot tub while watching and listening to what was happening in the Gastineau Channel was just what we'd hoped for. The town is close by, charming, and has ameneties a-plenty. I'm going to recommend it and plan to come back.

Robert

Robert, thank you for staying with Juneau Vacation Homes. We’re glad the hot tub gave you a chance to unwind while taking in the sights and sounds of Gastineau Channel, and that you enjoyed having charming downtown and its amenities nearby. Thank you for recommending us—we’d be happy to welcome you back.

Catherine

Sarah

Comfortable bed, very clean, and quiet. I visited the first week of October so there was not alot of traffic or foot traffic. It’s easy to walk anywhere downtown, and it’s a nice neighborhood.

Jessica

This was my second time in Juneau for a business trip. On this go around I was bringing my father so we could explore a little during the downtime which is why I went with the Airbnb route vs hotel. This place stood out and although it’s higher priced it’s worth every dollar. The location is superb, right on the channel and beautiful views to watch from every window of the home. The home is well stocked and has plenty of amenities. The hot tub on the deck was clean and the perfect place to relax and wind down the night. I would highly recommend and would stay there again if traveling with others. Even alone might be worth it. Lastly the steam shower, I didn’t even realize this was an amenity and let me tell you, after a long flight nothing is better. Finally, the host are super responsive and provided great recommendations.

Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more! The home is beautiful and the view is amazing. Sitting in the hot tub, enjoying a drink and taking in the beautiful scenery was exactly what my husband and I needed for a recharge. The house was spotless and had so many amenities that exceeded our expectations. The hosts are very kind and respond quickly to any questions asked. We definitely plan on making this a regular stay when we are in the area. They get all of the stars!

Tiffany

Great location in a peaceful neighborhood. Very clean and comfortable space. Really appreciated the recommendations of things to do! Adam was very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely stay and would totally come back.

Julie

It was very clean and spacious, with a super comfortable bed and blackout blinds in the bedroom, and a fantastic TV/comfortable couches for watching movies in the evening. The kitchen had dishes/cooking utensils for basic meals, including some spices and condiments. And the location was fantastic - just a few blocks from the heart of downtown!

Monica

Tina

We loved this spot & definitely would utilize Adam’s services again! He was super informative and helpful, and the place was perfect for our group.

Jessie

Wonderful location, well appointed including plenty of ice :) and the bed is fab. The location is perfect as easy walking to/from downtown. Highly recommend.

Rebecca W

It was just right for a base from which to explore hiking trails and Juneau.

Everything was gorgeous and made us feel right at home. The hubbs loved the steam shower and said it was the highlight of his stay. The hot tub and views made it feel like our own private Alaskan oasis, and the radiant heat floor kept us cozy warm. Absolutely loved this stay and would come back again.

Keturah

Keturah, thank you for staying with Juneau Vacation Homes. It’s wonderful to hear that the steam shower was a highlight for your husband and that the hot tub, views, and radiant heated floors helped make your stay feel like a cozy Alaskan oasis. We’d be happy to welcome you back on a future visit to Juneau.

Adam’s place was a perfect stay for the short time I was in Juneau with my partner! We even got to see the northern lights right from the front of the property on the access road! Adam’s recommendations for local food spots brought us to Rookery Cafe for breakfast and Sandbar and Grill for dinner which had the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! We were both really happy with our stay here in Juneau!

Eliseo

Great home and convenient location! The bed was comfortable and the house overall was as well!

Amanda

Adam was exceptional with communication and helping the place is a magnificent spot to just disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty of Juneau!!

Andrew

It was a great stay for me and our team. The location is beautiful, and it is a great deal for this time of year. The hosts were helpful and responsive.

Claudia

Excellent quiet spot. Loved having the barbecue. Everything was just as it should’ve been.

Brock

Adam was a kind and responsive host. We booked at the last minute because of a family issue, and he not only was quick to reply but also offered to help us find options as our plans evolved.

James

Fantastic place for large family gatherings! We were in town for a wedding with two of of our daughters and their families ( each had 2 small children). Plenty of room to stretch out. If you have young children, highly recommend renting the double stroller ( on Adam’s website). Rugged stroller which we took on many hikes ! Great location. Highly recommend

Chris

Loved our stay here. The view out the living room and deck was incredible. We walked in and everyone said “wow!” House was so clean and matched the listing perfectly. Adam and Ash were great hosts! Thank you.

We were stranded in Skagway while my mom and brother were on a Medivac to Juneau. Adam helped us get everything situated for him so he could focus on my mom.

The Lena Beach Oceanview Suite was exceptional. Juneau is breathtaking and the living room views from Adam and Ash's lovely guest home allowed us to enjoy the stunning scenery while drinking our coffee in the morning and doing dishes. We wanted to be one with nature in Alaska and this property met that goal. We experienced gorgeous sunsets, views of the milky way, sea lions near the shore, eagles chirping and soaring by, and watched whales traveling past near the islands. We were lucky enough to experience blue skies and the warm sun during our stay and when we asked if fans were available, the hosts had them delivered promptly. Adam and Ash provided a super helpful and thorough guidebook before arrival and were responsive throughout our stay. The location was perfect - close to the water, hiking trails, and town. We cannot wait to return and hope to meet the hosts in person next time to share whale stories and express our gratitude for staying in their cute, cozy, coastal guest home.

Jill

I enjoyed my stay. Place is as advertised.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had absolutely amazing views. It was such a beautiful and relaxing place to come back to after exploring Juneau. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting Juneau!

Priscilla

This is a great place with a really nice layout. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching an eagle perch right above us several days in a row. You do get some airport/road noise but it did not bother us. This was also a good location - not far from downtown, and closer to some places we wanted to go outside of town. We would stay here again!

Heather

Excellent location to enjoy the fabulous view and the hustle and bustle of downtown Juneau. Wake up each morning to a new cruise ship, take walks along the waterfront, shop a variety of boutiques, and enjoy a wide variety of restaurants and bars!

Genevieve

We had a wonderful stay! The check-in instructions were crystal clear, the home was sparkling clean, and the location was ideal for exploring. The host was very responsive and easy to reach whenever we had a question. Highly recommended and would gladly stay here again !

Very convenient location beside the cruise ship dock so great for people watching and wandering.

Great place. Very pretty and nice views. We appreciated that many items were available in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. We enjoyed our time!

Sandra

Beautiful place!! So enjoyed being right by the water!

Bob M

Great quick stay at this spacious pad! Adam and Ash were quick to respond to any questions, and had a great list of recommendations upon arrival. The location couldn’t be beat. Would recommend staying here!

Audrey

My husband and I had a great trip to Juneau! We loved being on Douglas and would gladly stay again! I’m glad we had a rental car to get to and from, but everything was close by and wears to get to. The kitchen is a bit smaller than expected but we weren’t cooking so no biggie at all!

Taryn

Great stay within walking distance to museum, shops, restaurants, and waterfront. Quite lovely.

Rebecca

Patsy

Catherine's home is truly special and we enjoyed our time here so much that we could barely bring ourselves to get out and explore Juneau. We were so at peace enjoying the view and watching eagles perched on the trees in the backyard. Nothing in the house indicates that it is a rental property - truly everything is of quality and the kitchen especially is well equipped. We would love to return one day!

Rachel

Adam and Ash were wonderful hosts and extremely communicative and accommodating both before and during the trip. The view from the main living room attached deck of downtown Juneau and the surrounding mountains is spectacular. The location can’t be beat. We walked to trailheads behind the house on Douglas, and less than 5 min by car into downtown. The kitchen was well appointed and clean. There is a nice outdoor gas grill as well. Our group had a wonderful time and gave us the itch to explore other areas of Alaska!

His place is great comfortable, well kept, and exactly as described. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily book again in the future.

Abiel

This place was fantastic. It was probably one of the best places I have stayed in. It was clean and cozy and a great price. The host was attentive to messages. While we were there it snowed a lot and the driveway was plowed promptly.

Keith

The house was beautiful and perfectly located for a visit to the Glacier.

Taylor

Great host, very communicative throughout the stay.

David

The space was super comfortable and inviting. We were in Juneau for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well stocked with gadgets, pans, & spices for all our cooking needs. Having a washer and dryer was so nice. The side deck with patio furniture and barbecue was great for the rare clear nights in Juneau. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. Lots of towels and cozy blankets. There were full sized shampoo, conditioner & body wash available in both showers. Plenty of trash bags, sponges, paper towels. They provided local coffee beans and a grinder to start our mornings off right. There was plenty of space for 6 of us plus company. The downstairs living space was comfortable for movie nights. We would definitely stay with Adam again!

Our crew stayed at this property during a recent work project in Juneau, and it was an excellent fit. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for an extended stay. It offered everything needed to support both rest and productivity. The location was convenient to town and job sites, and the neighborhood remained quiet and accessible throughout the stay. Communication with the host was timely and professional, and check-in was smooth. Overall, a great experience — we would gladly book this property again if Adam would have us for future project work in the area.

Accommodation was perfect! Updated, comfortable, clean and convenient in a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely no complaints!

Adam’s place was perfect for our group.. plenty of space, wonderful kitchen and bbq area, and he is so helpful about the area and what to do and see. We love Alaska and this home is right in the heart of its beauty! Thanks Adam!
