Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had! Kitchen was super well stocked (and I’m a cook), the views were incredible, and close to everything.  We woke early to watch eagles from the porch.  Lots of towels and literally every detail considered. Clean and plenty of space for our family!

Adam's Place is located right on the shores of Gastineau Channel. His porch is a great location to drink coffee and watch bald eagles. It's located 5 minutes from downtown Juneau, so the location is great for being close to all Juneau has to offer. We had a problem with the kitchen faucet and let Adam know. He had it fixed in no time. Adam is very responsive. If there's any downside it's that you really can't walk out the door and go for a walk anywhere. The road to Adam's Place is pretty busy and not sure you can walk along the channel at low tide. All in all, my wife and I agreed that if we come back to Juneau for another visit, we'll stay at Adam's if it's available.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our flight got in very late after delays and the other guests on the top floor had parked in our spot. I notified Adam right away and parked in the street for the night. Had more issues the next night with parking but not really Adam’s fault - they were having a party and did move their cars. One note is that you hear everything in the unit and above.

Beautiful spot on Douglas Island! There aren't a lot of great hotel options in Juneau proper, but just on the other side of the bridge is this gem of a place. We were just stopping through Juneau for a couple of nights on our way back from a trip to Haines, and it was so nice to be just slightly removed from the activity of downtown Juneau while four cruise ships were docked. It's either a very short Uber or a 25-minute walk (approximately 1.7 miles) from the house to downtown. The place is well-maintained, nice amenities, and super comfortable beds. Lots of backyard space with wonderful views of the mountains and Glastineau Channel. 10 out of 10!

Phenomenal location. Nestled in the pines giving great privacy, terrific wildlife viewing as the chum salmon peak their spawning. No need for any other entertainment than watching all age groups of Eagles feed in the channel, negotiate hierarchy, and nest. Home is elegant with simplicity and high end finishings. Contemporary, new construction, with great workmanship on concrete flooring. Heated flooring in the bathroom is a treat. Excellent, high functioning washer & dryer. High end kitchen in the middle of the home provides incredible views but lots of space for the family to work together in meal prep and mealtime. I have stayed in dozens and dozens of airbnbs and this home is truly my favorite.

Great place.  Perfect for a couple.  Bed was firm and comfortable.  Shower was a little funky but it worked!  Place is ideally located to downtown Juneau -- everything is walkable but you are away from the cruise ship crowds. The flat is clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hot tub was so soothing after days of long hikes and bike rides. Best for folks with a car, as it's a 30 minute walk into town, but the walk is pleasant and the odd Uber was not expensive.  Loved this place!

We were two grandparents and two grandchildren (ages 14 and 12). Everyone loved the duplex. It was nicely appointed; the kitchen was well stocked; the furniture was very comfortable… especially the beds; the view was great and Adam was extremely helpful while we were there and even before we got there. He sent a “Guidebook“, which had helpful information about the accommodations and recommendations for restaurants, as well as interesting activities. All the restaurant recommendations proved to be spot on. Location is perfect. It is on Douglas Island, just across the bridge, about 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Juneau. The duplex has a nice view of the cruise ships docked in the Juneau harbor.

The views from this oceanfront apartment were absolutely amazing, and the sauna was a wonderful bonus. The apartment was spacious, clean, and featured a large private deck that was perfect for enjoying the scenery. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay outside of downtown Juneau while still being just a short drive from the city’s attractions. I would highly recommend staying here!

We loved living on a boat for a week! We sat each morning and night on the deck of the boat watching boats come in and out of a busy harbor. The views can't be matched. The boat suited our needs well. Auke Bay is a fantastic location with plenty of places to walk to while being a close drive to more adventures. We'd stay here again!

There’s plentiful wildlife and scenery off the back patio, the home was in perfect condition, one of the newest, cleanest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in, and very well stocked. It was so nice to land here after flying all day. It is very close to the airport, but being nestled away in the woods, it feels remote. It is also a very short ride to downtown and the many hikes Juneau has to offer. It was clean and cozy, and the kitchen was stocked with basic things like olive oil, spices, and cooking ware, even down to the sandwich bags that allowed us to pack lunches and avoid buying unnecessary meals out. Would definitely stay here again.

5 nights at this "home away from home" condo was wonderful. We got in late off the ferry from Skagway, no stores open. We sure appreciated their hospitality! Coffee, sweeteners all there for us to wake up to! After taking ferries and hustling around Skagway, Ketchikan and Haines, we needed this! Nice view of the bay where the cruise ships came in & float planes take off.. Easy 10 minute drive into historic Juneau... perfect way to hang out in Juneau and then back to our condo for peace and quiet. We would definitely go back there..

Nice views of the surrounding mountains and Gastineau channel. Easy car ride to Douglas Harbor, Sandy Beach and Douglas restaurants. Close to hiking trails and the bridge to Downtown Juneau. The exterior of the condo could use some fixing up but that is a condo assn job. The covered parking with assigned parking was great and directly in front of the condo unit door. No stairs and easy safe access to the condo. I’d stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights while on a long weekend vacation in Juneau. Overall, the condo is cute and looks like the photos, and there is a beautiful view from the porch. However, on arriving we noticed a strong, musty, dirty smell all throughout the unit. We opened the windows for a couple hours but the smell didn’t go away. Adam texted me to ask how everything was going, and I told him about the smell, but he did not respond until the last day of our stay. I’m not sure if the previous guests left behind an odor or is this is typically a problem, but I was mostly frustrated by their lack of response. It’s worth nothing that this property is owned by locals, but they appear to be professional property owners rather than a mom and pop business.

Great space, on Douglas which is what we wanted. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. The only issue (which is really out of the hosts control), is that a neighbor smokes cigarettes on their porch and it can be bothersome to be outside or have the patio door open. Again, nothing the hosts can control but a heads up to anyone who dislikes having smoking neighbors. Overall, a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay as we visited with family. You can't beat the views from Douglas Island. Everything you might need (except for and drink) is there for you. We got in late and were pleasantly surprised to find some coffee for the morning to get us stayed.

The condo is great.  It is on the small side, but was perfect for my stay for 4 days.  Adam was very responsive, and made checking into and out of the condo super easy.  The condo has beautiful views of the mountains and is very conveniently located.  The condo was clean with plenty of amenities provided for my stay.  Given that it rained a lot while I was there, the covered parking was great.  I would recommend this condo for any 1 or 2 persons visiting the area.
