Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had! Kitchen was super well stocked (and I’m a cook), the views were incredible, and close to everything.  We woke early to watch eagles from the porch.  Lots of towels and literally every detail considered. Clean and plenty of space for our family!

Adam's Place is located right on the shores of Gastineau Channel. His porch is a great location to drink coffee and watch bald eagles. It's located 5 minutes from downtown Juneau, so the location is great for being close to all Juneau has to offer. We had a problem with the kitchen faucet and let Adam know. He had it fixed in no time. Adam is very responsive. If there's any downside it's that you really can't walk out the door and go for a walk anywhere. The road to Adam's Place is pretty busy and not sure you can walk along the channel at low tide. All in all, my wife and I agreed that if we come back to Juneau for another visit, we'll stay at Adam's if it's available.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our flight got in very late after delays and the other guests on the top floor had parked in our spot. I notified Adam right away and parked in the street for the night. Had more issues the next night with parking but not really Adam’s fault - they were having a party and did move their cars. One note is that you hear everything in the unit and above.

Beautiful spot on Douglas Island! There aren't a lot of great hotel options in Juneau proper, but just on the other side of the bridge is this gem of a place. We were just stopping through Juneau for a couple of nights on our way back from a trip to Haines, and it was so nice to be just slightly removed from the activity of downtown Juneau while four cruise ships were docked. It's either a very short Uber or a 25-minute walk (approximately 1.7 miles) from the house to downtown. The place is well-maintained, nice amenities, and super comfortable beds. Lots of backyard space with wonderful views of the mountains and Glastineau Channel. 10 out of 10!

Phenomenal location. Nestled in the pines giving great privacy, terrific wildlife viewing as the chum salmon peak their spawning. No need for any other entertainment than watching all age groups of Eagles feed in the channel, negotiate hierarchy, and nest. Home is elegant with simplicity and high end finishings. Contemporary, new construction, with great workmanship on concrete flooring. Heated flooring in the bathroom is a treat. Excellent, high functioning washer & dryer. High end kitchen in the middle of the home provides incredible views but lots of space for the family to work together in meal prep and mealtime. I have stayed in dozens and dozens of airbnbs and this home is truly my favorite.

Great place.  Perfect for a couple.  Bed was firm and comfortable.  Shower was a little funky but it worked!  Place is ideally located to downtown Juneau -- everything is walkable but you are away from the cruise ship crowds.  Adam was an excellent host, proactively communicating and very responsive when we had questions.

The flat is clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hot tub was so soothing after days of long hikes and bike rides. Best for folks with a car, as it's a 30 minute walk into town, but the walk is pleasant and the odd Uber was not expensive.  Loved this place!

We were two grandparents and two grandchildren (ages 14 and 12). Everyone loved the duplex. It was nicely appointed; the kitchen was well stocked; the furniture was very comfortable… especially the beds; the view was great and Adam was extremely helpful while we were there and even before we got there. He sent a “Guidebook“, which had helpful information about the accommodations and recommendations for restaurants, as well as interesting activities. All the restaurant recommendations proved to be spot on. Location is perfect. It is on Douglas Island, just across the bridge, about 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Juneau. The duplex has a nice view of the cruise ships docked in the Juneau harbor.

The views from this oceanfront apartment were absolutely amazing, and the sauna was a wonderful bonus. The apartment was spacious, clean, and featured a large private deck that was perfect for enjoying the scenery. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay outside of downtown Juneau while still being just a short drive from the city’s attractions. I would highly recommend staying here!

We loved living on a boat for a week! We sat each morning and night on the deck of the boat watching boats come in and out of a busy harbor. The views can't be matched. The boat suited our needs well. Auke Bay is a fantastic location with plenty of places to walk to while being a close drive to more adventures. We'd stay here again!

The view is spectacular! House met our needs, although it was a bit cold. It’s across from Juneau, but only takes 5 minutes to drive.

There’s plentiful wildlife and scenery off the back patio, the home was in perfect condition, one of the newest, cleanest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in, and very well stocked. It was so nice to land here after flying all day. It is very close to the airport, but being nestled away in the woods, it feels remote. It is also a very short ride to downtown and the many hikes Juneau has to offer. It was clean and cozy, and the kitchen was stocked with basic things like olive oil, spices, and cooking ware, even down to the sandwich bags that allowed us to pack lunches and avoid buying unnecessary meals out. Would definitely stay here again.

Adam was more than accommodating, we were there on a work trip, had initially planned on 2 weeks but ended up staying almost 2 months. We had to scramble to find a new Airbnb and Adam was more than helpful, he found us 2 more available for the dates we needed and even let us stage our luggage in the entry before we went to work so we didn’t have to hall it to the job site. Definitely a one of a kind host. Can’t recommend them enough! Also Juneau Vacation Homes, is the same owner, If Airbnb doesn’t have what you need! ☺️

Juneau will be an adventure that our family never forgets! We travel big with 4 littles and two parents. Having a home with 3 bedrooms, space to spread out and the game room was amazing! Looking out of the window never ceased to take my breath away Adam is quick to get back if there are questions. They give great recommendations prior to arrival and even while we were there informed us of Gold Rush days so we could make it to a local tradition of mining and forestry games. Would recommend to anyone in need of a place to spread out and unwind

Adam was very helpful. I had booked reservations for the week at the Baranof Hotel, which fell thru due the hotel closing. There were no notifications from hotel only a sign on the door when I arrived. It was bit stressful as all the hotels were full in Juneau. I was able to book Adam's place quickly and he allowed me to check in a little early. It's a great spot. The place matched the pictures on Airbnb. The recliners in the living room were awesome! Very much appreciated!

We loved staying at Adam‘s place. Communication was easy and clear. The kitchen was well appointed.  The view was beautiful. We saw bald eagles several times when we were in the living room. There was plenty of room for our group to relax and hang out. I actually loved the video games and played Pac-Man nonstop. :) It was so nice staying in his home.

The view is amazing and the location is great. Overall the house worked well for us. Positives are the neat play-mud room with lots of room to hang coats, video games, shoes and gear. The kitchen worked well for us and little touches like having coffee available was great. The electronic lock on front is really great and the deck up top is amazing place to hang out. Lots of room for our families to be together and a responsive and helpful host. Concerns were that there are some things that need some maintenance, at check in we found things that were broken and as a renter you have concerns about it. We tried to keep kids away from the radiators (almost all of them) because of the loose metal panels but on last day one of our kids foot hit it and got a cut. Just other small things like a broken towel holder, lamp missing a chain, sink drain didnt work, etc. Overall great place but a little maintenance will definitely help for a better experience, but would stay with the host again.

The home was an amazing place to stay. The view was amazing watching the bald eagle and the cruise ships was always entertaining. The house was a quick drive over to the main town without having to be in the middle of town. We had a group of 14 and rented both halves of Adam‘s house and it was an excellent place for the kids to have their own space and the adults to be able to hang outoverall it was a fantastic location and a wonderfully comfortable house. Would definitely stay here again.
