Our stay at this beautiful waterfront retreat in Juneau was absolutely incredible. Nestled in a peaceful cove, the home offered breathtaking views that we never got tired of. The layout was perfect for our large family especially the separate 2-bedroom apartment, which gave our brother and his family their own private space while still being close by. The main house was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the sauna was such a relaxing bonus after a day of exploring. This home is ideal for a larger family or group, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Adam and Ash’s place this past weekend while helping my son move into his new condo in Juneau, and it exceeded every expectation. The location is incredibly convenient — just minutes from Costco, gas stations, grocery stores, the airport, and anything else you might need. The unit itself is spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with everything arranged to make the stay comfortable and easy. Parking is right outside the entrance and couldn’t be more convenient. Adam and Ash were excellent hosts: friendly, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. The price was also very fair — significantly less than a comparable hotel stay in downtown Juneau, with far more comfort and privacy. Since my son now lives in Juneau, I expect to visit once or twice a year, and this will absolutely be my first choice going forward.

I had the pleasure of staying here and left very satisfied with my experience! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, check-in process smooth and enjoyable. The location was also very convenient for me. It's situated in an industrial area and also next to a doggy day care, so you there was quite a bit of noise during the day that sometimes started fairly early in the mornings. However, the quiet at night made for restful evenings. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would book again.

We can’t say enough great things about Adam and this Airbnb. He was so accommodating to us, considering we booked it last minute after a terrible hotel stay in downtown Juneau! We’re so thankful now that our hotel stay was so bad because we would’ve never gotten the opportunity to stay here, otherwise. This home is EVERYTHING! It’s beautiful, serene, has everything you’ll need and more, and just feels like home. From the moment you walk in; the decor, the cleanliness, all the extra amenities that are included (ice maker, washer/dryer, coffee, chef’s kitchen, etc.) just so much to list- it’s just all so wonderful! The bed, the pillows, and linens are super comfy- and that’s MOST important to us; especially on vacation. Even the bathroom shower gel and shampoo & conditioner are way nicer than most other Airbnbs & hotels. Adam is super quick to respond and offers great suggestions. I almost don’t want to leave a review because I don’t want this place booked when we come back! SO GREAT!!!

Stayed at Adam and Ash’s place over the weekend. Close to the cruise ship dock but no ships were in port, so the place was very peaceful and quiet. The beds were super comfy. It got a bit warm at night, but we just opened a window a bit. We were able to walk to restaurants, Devil’s Club and Amalga. Will be even better when the Griz Bar reopens with it’s new layout. Hosts were wonderfully flexible in allowing me to check in early. The apartment was spacious and the bed was comfortable. As a bonus, I was able to do a much-needed load of laundry as there are some coin-operated machines in the building ($3 for wash + dry). While this is not the ideal time of year to visit Juneau, I appreciated that I didn't have to walk far in the rain to get to restaurants, a yoga studio, or gift stores. One Juneau disappointment was the bus system: You must have $2 in cash for each ride. You can't buy tickets with a card like most other places I've been around the world. This got frustrating fast because stores wouldn't give me any cash back after a purchase. I gave up on transit and rented a car, which I would definitely recommend doing at the airport. Parking in the library garage worked well, but required going outside by 8 a.m. each morning to pay the daytime rate (night is free). It was cheap by city parking standards; only $6/day. All in all, a great stay.

Hi Kate, Happy to hear you had a great stay! We are local and here to help guests with any questions/ issues. We proactively provide a digital guidebook that answers the most common guest questions and we are always available to assist. The bus system doesn't take card, however all the grocery stores and city hall (1 block away) sell bus tokens and you can pay via card. This information was on the capital city transit website I sent over to you when you mentioned you'd utilize public transit. The parking garage across the street is the best option in the summer. Payment can be made in person or via the link provided in your guidebook. Once the cruise ships are gone, (Oct-April) free street parking is available directly across the street from the apartment.
