We missed our flight back to Seattle and had to wait two days to catch another. I figured we should make the most of the "bonus" Alaska time and Adam's place was available - and AMAZING! It's at the end of an out of the way cul-de-sac backing up to the forest. It's a garage apartment next to the main house but was cleverly arranged that we never really looked out the direction. It was so peaceful! Everything inside was high end (appliances, linens). The windows were nearly soundproof, which made for perfect sleep. there was high speed internet that allowed some teleworking and videocalls. It's a little remote from downtown but the ride shares were around $20 each way. We feel so lucky that we were able to find this charming place available and I hope we can come back soon!

Being able to relax in a hot tub while watching and listening to what was happening in the Gastineau Channel was just what we'd hoped for. The town is close by, charming, and has ameneties a-plenty. I'm going to recommend it and plan to come back.

Comfortable bed, very clean, and quiet. I visited the first week of October so there was not alot of traffic or foot traffic. It’s easy to walk anywhere downtown, and it’s a nice neighborhood.

This was my second time in Juneau for a business trip. On this go around I was bringing my father so we could explore a little during the downtime which is why I went with the Airbnb route vs hotel. This place stood out and although it’s higher priced it’s worth every dollar. The location is superb, right on the channel and beautiful views to watch from every window of the home. The home is well stocked and has plenty of amenities. The hot tub on the deck was clean and the perfect place to relax and wind down the night. I would highly recommend and would stay there again if traveling with others. Even alone might be worth it. Lastly the steam shower, I didn’t even realize this was an amenity and let me tell you, after a long flight nothing is better. Finally, the host are super responsive and provided great recommendations.

Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more! The home is beautiful and the view is amazing. Sitting in the hot tub, enjoying a drink and taking in the beautiful scenery was exactly what my husband and I needed for a recharge. The house was spotless and had so many amenities that exceeded our expectations. The hosts are very kind and respond quickly to any questions asked. We definitely plan on making this a regular stay when we are in the area. They get all of the stars!

It was very clean and spacious, with a super comfortable bed and blackout blinds in the bedroom, and a fantastic TV/comfortable couches for watching movies in the evening. The kitchen had dishes/cooking utensils for basic meals, including some spices and condiments. And the location was fantastic - just a few blocks from the heart of downtown!

It was just right for a base from which to explore hiking trails and Juneau.

Everything was gorgeous and made us feel right at home. The hubbs loved the steam shower and said it was the highlight of his stay. The hot tub and views made it feel like our own private Alaskan oasis, and the radiant heat floor kept us cozy warm. Absolutely loved this stay and would come back again.

Adam’s place was a perfect stay for the short time I was in Juneau with my partner! We even got to see the northern lights right from the front of the property on the access road! Adam’s recommendations for local food spots brought us to Rookery Cafe for breakfast and Sandbar and Grill for dinner which had the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! We were both really happy with our stay here in Juneau!

Fantastic place for large family gatherings! We were in town for a wedding with two of of our daughters and their families ( each had 2 small children). Plenty of room to stretch out. If you have young children, highly recommend renting the double stroller ( on Adam’s website). Rugged stroller which we took on many hikes ! Great location. Highly recommend

The Lena Beach Oceanview Suite was exceptional. Juneau is breathtaking and the living room views from Adam and Ash's lovely guest home allowed us to enjoy the stunning scenery while drinking our coffee in the morning and doing dishes. We wanted to be one with nature in Alaska and this property met that goal. We experienced gorgeous sunsets, views of the milky way, sea lions near the shore, eagles chirping and soaring by, and watched whales traveling past near the islands. We were lucky enough to experience blue skies and the warm sun during our stay and when we asked if fans were available, the hosts had them delivered promptly. Adam and Ash provided a super helpful and thorough guidebook before arrival and were responsive throughout our stay. The location was perfect - close to the water, hiking trails, and town. We cannot wait to return and hope to meet the hosts in person next time to share whale stories and express our gratitude for staying in their cute, cozy, coastal guest home.

This is a great place with a really nice layout. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching an eagle perch right above us several days in a row. You do get some airport/road noise but it did not bother us. This was also a good location - not far from downtown, and closer to some places we wanted to go outside of town. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The check-in instructions were crystal clear, the home was sparkling clean, and the location was ideal for exploring. The host was very responsive and easy to reach whenever we had a question. Highly recommended and would gladly stay here again !

My husband and I had a great trip to Juneau! We loved being on Douglas and would gladly stay again! I’m glad we had a rental car to get to and from, but everything was close by and wears to get to. The kitchen is a bit smaller than expected but we weren’t cooking so no biggie at all!

Catherine's home is truly special and we enjoyed our time here so much that we could barely bring ourselves to get out and explore Juneau. We were so at peace enjoying the view and watching eagles perched on the trees in the backyard. Nothing in the house indicates that it is a rental property - truly everything is of quality and the kitchen especially is well equipped. We would love to return one day!

Adam and Ash were wonderful hosts and extremely communicative and accommodating both before and during the trip. The view from the main living room  attached deck of downtown Juneau and the surrounding mountains is spectacular. The location can’t be beat. We walked to trailheads behind the house on Douglas, and less than 5 min by car into downtown. The kitchen was well appointed and clean. There is a nice outdoor gas grill as well.Our group had a wonderful time and gave us the itch to explore other areas of Alaska!

Adam’s place was awesome and was very close to Juneau downtown and easily accessible to almost all major attractions within a short drive and even awesome rainforest hikes within the island. And the best part, amazing view of Juneau waters and mountains from both living room and bedroom.

This is my second review of Adam’s place. The first stay was so good that when we decided to extend our stay for a few more nights, we decided to just stay at Adam’s place for additional nights.

Place was great but the lower bathroom toilet was broken.

Unfortunately the wifi did not work for us during our 2 night stay. Adam said he reset it, but that didn't work and when asking again to see if the issue could be resolved, we didn't hear from the host again. We had terrible service in Juneau, so no wifi made things challenging including calling for Lyfts & Ubers and even accessing the digital booklet with check in and check out instructions making both a bit difficult. His place is nice, cozy, with good view. About a 30 min walk to downtown Juneau and 5 min drive.
