Catherine's home is truly special and we enjoyed our time here so much that we could barely bring ourselves to get out and explore Juneau. We were so at peace enjoying the view and watching eagles perched on the trees in the backyard. Nothing in the house indicates that it is a rental property - truly everything is of quality and the kitchen especially is well equipped. We would love to return one day!

Great place! The only reason I’m giving it fewer stars is because VRBO listed the location as being in downtown Juneau when the boat is actually located in the Valley. This was a VRBO listing issue and was not the hosts’ fault. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful when we brought the location issue to their attention and did everything they could to help.We absolutely loved the boat and the setup. We sat on top watching sunsets every night and even got to watch seals haul out onto the docks. It was such a unique and peaceful experience. Falling asleep to the sound of the rain and gently rocking with the boat was honestly one of my favorite parts of the stay.Even with the location discrepancy on VRBO, we would absolutely stay here again. We could not rave enough about how unique and memorable this stay was! And got to also explore a new area of Juneau!

This is my second review of Adam’s place. The first stay was so good that when we decided to extend our stay for a few more nights, we decided to just stay at Adam’s place for additional nights.

This is such a great little place. We highly recommend it for 2 people visiting Juneau with access to a car. Waking up to the direct view of the mountains and channel every day was just amazing - and watching the cruise ships going in an out gave a feel for life in Juneau in the summer! The condo had all the comforts of home: a comfortable bed, linens, clean and well equipped bathroom and kitchen, washer/dryer, coffee maker and coffee grinder (even a  big bag of delicious local Alaskan coffee as well as creamer, sugar, all the stuff you need). TV worked well, though we didn't use it that much. Staying on Douglas Island is very peaceful -- close to downtown but far enough away that you're not in the middle of all the cruise crowds. Also near to trails and Island Pub restaurant, which was a pleasantly good surprise. The Airbnb hosts checked in regularly and were available if we needed them, but we never needed anything! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This property was truly amazing for our stay in Juneau!  We spent our mornings drinking coffee and watching the Eagles in Auke Bay right out on the deck!  You can also see the seals swimming there and they are so cute!  There is a small beach below we ventured down to and got a few shells one day. The home was so cozy and had everything we needed and things we didn’t have Ben expect like organic coffee beans and some other items. It is far enough from the touristy sites to have peace and just close enough to check them out if you choose to venture out. It was about 7 min from the airport and actually really close to a glacier we drove to ourselves and didn’t have to pay for a hefty priced tour to one!  We did pay for a whale tour and much was just magical and would highly recommend that!  The home is close to gas, a few restaurants and a gas station that has most things you would need on vacation and even has fresh donuts and sandwiches daily for breakfast and other meals as well as liquor so you don’t have to go far.  Little one stop shop!

This place exceeded our expectations. It was close to hiking trails, the glacier and town. We couldn’t have been more comfortable. The bed was great, everything was spotless clean. The apartment is just as described, with a beautiful view. Adam was very nice to deal with. He was very responsive and helpful each time I reached out to him with questions. He also let me adjust my reservation last minute! There’s lots of restaurants within a short drive to downtown and an amazing pizza place about 5 minutes away. If you like to walk there’s a trail about 5 minutes away at Sandy Beach, which has a beautiful view across the channel of the city. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We LOVED our weeklong stay here! The location was easily accessible to everywhere & yet private & quiet. So thankful for the easy in & out off-street parking. The private garden entrance was beautiful & serene. Inside was everything you could want for an enjoyable stay -- luxurious large-size toiletries, fluffy towels, an awesome sleep-number bed & literally anything you could want in a kitchen/living set up. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches -- a roomy bench & ample hooks at the entry, delicious local coffee beans & grinder for fresh brew we enjoyed sitting in the courtyard every morning, avocado-oil spray & curated spice selection, and even a jumbo supply of the same pricey laundry pods we use at home! The washer/dryer was a life-saver. And that sofa! Looking for one just like it to purchase for our home! Adam & Ash were gracious hosts who were available if needed. Checkout was easy and we felt completely safe throughout our stay. Thank you for an amazing week in Juneau!

Perfect home base for 3 generations to enjoy beautiful Juneau. The property is well-supplied, quiet, and roomy. We so enjoyed the fire pit, arcade and basketball games, and hot tub. We cooked many meals at home. I especially appreciated that the home was well outside the chaotic dock area when the cruise ships come in. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely two night stay here enjoying the mountain and city views. It was a great option while visiting Juneau. We loved the outside seating and privacy the home afforded. Adam and Ash provided tons of recommendations prior to our arrival, which made trip planning a little easier. They were also proactive ensuring that we had a smooth check in. The home is fully equipped with everything you need for your Alaska adventure.

We were two grandparents and two grandchildren (ages 14 and 12). Everyone loved the duplex. It was nicely appointed; the kitchen was well stocked; the furniture was very comfortable… especially the beds; the view was great and Adam was extremely helpful while we were there and even before we got there. He sent a “Guidebook“, which had helpful information about the accommodations and recommendations for restaurants, as well as interesting activities. All the restaurant recommendations proved to be spot on. Location is perfect. It is on Douglas Island, just across the bridge, about 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Juneau. The duplex has a nice view of the cruise ships docked in the Juneau harbor.

Comfortable seating, space to spread out, a nice kitchen and peaceful, filtered view. There are stairs, a possible challenge for older folks, but the place was very comfortable. There are a few small maintenance issues but generally this is a great spot to use as a base for area activities, and to relax and enjoy family. There were a number of thoughtful touches to make one's stay comfortable. One suggestion to add is a broom for quick clean ups, but overall we had a great time.

The house was exactly as described—a perfect setup for our group—and in a fantastic location. Right across the water from downtown Juneau, and less than a 5-minute drive to the heart of the city. It’s also less than 5 minutes in the other direction to Savikko Park, with a great beach for walking around and letting the kids play. The beds were super comfortable, and the living room is a very cozy place to sit and watch the sunrise, or the cruise ships coming and going across the way. Adam and Ash were responsive and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were easy. We enjoyed Juneau even more than we expected, and if we find ourselves going back, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Adam and Ash’s place again.

The duplex home had wonderful windows with tree filtered views of the Gastineau Channel, snow capped mountains, cruise ships and downtown Juneau. It was well furnished with comfortable reclining chairs in the living room and a well appointed spacious kitchen. It was convenient to downtown Juneau, downtown Douglas and to walking trails. Our multi generational family enjoyed staying in this home. We enjoyed the space and furnishings that made everyone comfortable, especially on rainy days when we spent time indoors. Our host offered suggestions for excursions, was responsive and proactive in asking about our stay. We would certainly stay there again.
