Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had! Kitchen was super well stocked (and I’m a cook), the views were incredible, and close to everything.  We woke early to watch eagles from the porch.  Lots of towels and literally every detail considered. Clean and plenty of space for our family!

Adam's Place is located right on the shores of Gastineau Channel. His porch is a great location to drink coffee and watch bald eagles. It's located 5 minutes from downtown Juneau, so the location is great for being close to all Juneau has to offer. We had a problem with the kitchen faucet and let Adam know. He had it fixed in no time. Adam is very responsive. If there's any downside it's that you really can't walk out the door and go for a walk anywhere. The road to Adam's Place is pretty busy and not sure you can walk along the channel at low tide. All in all, my wife and I agreed that if we come back to Juneau for another visit, we'll stay at Adam's if it's available.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our flight got in very late after delays and the other guests on the top floor had parked in our spot. I notified Adam right away and parked in the street for the night. Had more issues the next night with parking but not really Adam’s fault - they were having a party and did move their cars. One note is that you hear everything in the unit and above.

Beautiful spot on Douglas Island! There aren't a lot of great hotel options in Juneau proper, but just on the other side of the bridge is this gem of a place. We were just stopping through Juneau for a couple of nights on our way back from a trip to Haines, and it was so nice to be just slightly removed from the activity of downtown Juneau while four cruise ships were docked. It's either a very short Uber or a 25-minute walk (approximately 1.7 miles) from the house to downtown. The place is well-maintained, nice amenities, and super comfortable beds. Lots of backyard space with wonderful views of the mountains and Glastineau Channel. 10 out of 10!

Phenomenal location. Nestled in the pines giving great privacy, terrific wildlife viewing as the chum salmon peak their spawning. No need for any other entertainment than watching all age groups of Eagles feed in the channel, negotiate hierarchy, and nest. Home is elegant with simplicity and high end finishings. Contemporary, new construction, with great workmanship on concrete flooring. Heated flooring in the bathroom is a treat. Excellent, high functioning washer & dryer. High end kitchen in the middle of the home provides incredible views but lots of space for the family to work together in meal prep and mealtime. I have stayed in dozens and dozens of airbnbs and this home is truly my favorite.

Great place.  Perfect for a couple.  Bed was firm and comfortable.  Shower was a little funky but it worked!  Place is ideally located to downtown Juneau -- everything is walkable but you are away from the cruise ship crowds.  Adam was an excellent host, proactively communicating and very responsive when we had questions.

The flat is clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hot tub was so soothing after days of long hikes and bike rides. Best for folks with a car, as it's a 30 minute walk into town, but the walk is pleasant and the odd Uber was not expensive.  Loved this place!

We were two grandparents and two grandchildren (ages 14 and 12). Everyone loved the duplex. It was nicely appointed; the kitchen was well stocked; the furniture was very comfortable… especially the beds; the view was great and Adam was extremely helpful while we were there and even before we got there. He sent a “Guidebook“, which had helpful information about the accommodations and recommendations for restaurants, as well as interesting activities. All the restaurant recommendations proved to be spot on. Location is perfect. It is on Douglas Island, just across the bridge, about 5 to 10 minutes from the center of Juneau. The duplex has a nice view of the cruise ships docked in the Juneau harbor.

The views from this oceanfront apartment were absolutely amazing, and the sauna was a wonderful bonus. The apartment was spacious, clean, and featured a large private deck that was perfect for enjoying the scenery. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay outside of downtown Juneau while still being just a short drive from the city’s attractions. I would highly recommend staying here!

We loved living on a boat for a week! We sat each morning and night on the deck of the boat watching boats come in and out of a busy harbor. The views can't be matched. The boat suited our needs well. Auke Bay is a fantastic location with plenty of places to walk to while being a close drive to more adventures. We'd stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this lovely cabin for a week long fishing trip in Juneau. There’s plentiful wildlife and scenery off the back patio, the home was in perfect condition, one of the newest, cleanest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in, and very well stocked. It was so nice to land here after flying all day. It is very close to the airport, but being nestled away in the woods, it feels remote. It is also a very short ride to downtown and the many hikes Juneau has to offer. It was clean and cozy, and the kitchen was stocked with basic things like olive oil, spices, and cooking ware, even down to the sandwich bags that allowed us to pack lunches and avoid buying unnecessary meals out. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay - the view was impressive.  Did not realize that we would be right next to a busy road but we didn’t notice the noise at night.  Overall, we had a comfortable stay and Adam was very responsive when we had an issue

This is a two story place with entry on the second floor via external stairs, and bedrooms on the third. The dining table is not at standard height, but bar height. The beds and shower heads are also very high. It is by the main road so you can hear the traffic and parking is a little tight for large vehicles. If you are traveling with elders and small kids, these details may be important to you. The jetted tub with view was very nice, although it caused a leak in the living room during our stay. We also liked that it is close to Mendenhall Glacier and farther from downtown. Adam has operationalized the stays to address various situations. For example, we were able to do a late checkout at additional cost so we could relax before our late afternoon flight. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Adam.

The view from this place is amazing!! The main room has glass doors that look out over Auke Bay so you can literally see the views all the time. The marina is right there and there are seals and more eagles than you can count. You can walk down and along Auke Bay at low tide. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably appointed. The bedrooms on the road side of the house can be noisy but they have room fans that help buffer. Adam was great and responsive and helpful! We are a family of 4 and we loved our stay.

Missing a deck. Coffee grinder did not work and we had an ongoing issue with the keyless entry. 3 drains were slow and full of hair, they promptly came over and addressed the issue. Road noise is there but was expected. Views is what this place is all about. Plenty of Bald eagles to watch as the various boats come and go.No emails to management were ever answered. All calls to the management were answered and issues were resolved promptly.

Great place to stay. Comfortable, clean, and great view. I enjoyed waking up and looking out over the harbor every morning. I loved looking at the sunset over that harbor every night. Very responsive host. Really nice master bath. Overkill for one person, it could sleep seven or eight people easy. I had a really nice time. Lots of stairs.

Very nice property! Check in and out super efficient and mangers very responsive. Floor to ceiling windows make for amazing views of Auke Bay. Kitchen very well appointed. Beds and linens top notch. Felt safe with good doors and outside lighting. Maybe another deadbolt on front door. Carpets moderately stained in upstairs area but easily fixed. Overall great stay. Would definitely stay again!
